Emerging producer D.K. made his debut earlier this year on Parisian label Get The Curse, joining Raudive, Low Jack and Photonz on the imprint with his distinct brand of woozy boogie-informed house music reminiscent of recent material from Future Times and Mood Hut. He made a swift return in March gracing one side of the first 10″ from Get The Curse boss Clement Meyer’s Odd Frequencies label, brandishing a slightly tougher techno sound, and is set to return to that label with a release under the 45ACP alias that’s due to drop next week. News now emerges that D.K. will add another local operation to his discography, with Antinote Recordings the destination for the producer’s debut album.

Entitled Drop, the eight-track album is scheduled to arrive later this month and looks to be a more comprehensive presentation of the sounds D.K. previously explored on those aforementioned releases, making him a logical addition to Quentin Vandewalle’s label alongside the skewed house of Geena and Albinos. The news also represents the first full length album release from Antinote and adds to a diverse range of music already released on the label this year, with further archival Iueke material complemented by experimental kosmische-inspired synth experiments from Nico Motte and an electronic take on ’70s psychedelia from the Syracuse duo.
