Satori - In Between Worlds (2015)

"Satori is the recognition of the universal nature of being ..." so far the explanation in the context of Buddhism. How far music brings us to this is proven by the artist "Satori", Djordje Petrovic is his civil name and he grew up in the Netherlands, with Serbian and South-African roots. At first glance, the title "In Between Worlds" thus seems very apt for his debut album, which will be released in March on Underyourskin Records. But at second glance, after an audition, it really expresses the essence of the album. It reflects the many cultural influences, Satori has felt in his life so far. He creates with beautiful melancholy a story about life and love between worlds and cultures. Satori understands to inspire any kind of music lover by taking the listener on a spiritual journey and explore with him his infinite variety of sounds. There are no limits in movement, creativity and dreams.

Each title is special, many organic sounds and instruments are used, even singing plays an important role. He also easily comes back to electronic elements and combines these incomparable with each other. Each track seems like a little picture and the further you go away and see the album as a whole thing; you recognize the rousing collage of Electronica Lounge Pop, African Jazz, Hip Hop and World Music.
