To lesser trained ears, the ten tracks (twelve including the 7") of 'Situation Modulaire' could pass for the original '80s thing: they're just a bit roughed round the edges, given to wayward, possibly unplanned sequencer vectors and barely tamed drum machine patterns, and with proper, moody sci-fi-esque atmospheres that make it feel like you're participating in a lo-budget '80s French thriller about a gang of unfeasibly handsome young cyber-hacker prototypes who ALL wear black.
