Bing Ji Ling - Por Cada Nube (2013)

Conceived during the recording of Phenomenal Handclap Band’s “Form & Control” album at London’s RAK Studios, and completed in New York, Por Cada Nube is released on Rak Records on November 4th.

Inspired by the gold discs on every wall, and the stories of classic pop recordings made on the pristine vintage equipment at RAK, Phenomenal Handclap Band and Bing Ji Ling stepped forward to help bring Mickie Most’s Rak Records in to the 21st centuty.

The result features four classic hits from the Rak Records catalogue: I Don’t Want To Lose You, Every One’s A Winner, Stranger in The City and Could Have Been A Lady, and four original songs.

Quinn Luke, also known as Bing Ji Ling, is a New York City based producer- musician. Former member of the Phenomenal Handclap Band, duo’s Coppa and Q&A, Quinn has made records for Tummy Touch, DFA Records, Smalltown Supersound, and Lo Recordings amongst many others. Por cada nube is his 6th solo album, following Shadow To Shine released by Tummy Touch in 2011.
