VA - Super Groovers (2015)

For its' final release of 2015, Parisian imprint Rebel Hearts has assembled a crack team of experienced scalpel fiends to contribute their own Super Groovers. Mr Given kicks things off with a heavy, disco-house interpretation of Jacksons' classic "Body Language" - previously superbly re-arranged by Bill Brewster's Fat Camp project - before KS French takes a trip into disco-funk territory on the deliciously groovy "Love Slave". Rare Cuts explores similar ground on the tasty "Concrete Jungle", while Brooklyn's P-Sol steals the show with "Want To Play", a lovely re-work of a lesser-known disco cut inspired by Inner Life classic "Moment of My Life". As if that wasn't enough to get the juices flowing, King Edits' "La Belle Disco" offers a Dj-friendly version of Charanga 76's Latin disco classic "Music Trance".
