DHARK is the result of a metamorphosis, the transformation of a project into a band. Starting in 2010 and going by the name PROMETHEUS, the three band members from Vienna/ Austria released two albums and one EP, establishing themselves in the local scene with their strong live performances.
During the process of creating DARKNESS AMPLIFIED the band developed into DHARK: brutally poetic music, dominated by the vocals of the two frontmen, driven by powerful drumming. The songs of DHARK are concerned with mankind, inward- and outward-looking, exploring the depth of the human being. DHARK is not easy entertainment. DHARK wants to inspire the mind.
