Death By Unga Bunga - So Far so Good so Cool (2018)

A high-energy punk/garage rock/power pop group based out of Moss, Norway, Death by Unga Bunga -- their name was derived from an album by California garage rock revivalists the Mummies -- were founded in 2008 by Sebastian Ulstad Olsen (lead vocals, guitar), Preben S. Andersen (keyboards), Stian S. Gulbrandsen (guitar), Even Rolland Pettersen (bass), and Ole S. Nesset (drums). They released their debut studio album, Juvenile Jungle, in 2010, followed by a sophomore effort, The Kids Are Up to No Good, two years later. You're an Animal arrived in 2013, with the band's fourth studio long-player, Pineapple Pizza, and the four-song EP Fight dropping in 2016. Late 2017 saw the release of a pair of singles, "Bye Bye" and "Into the Night," in anticipation of the arrival of the studio LP So Far So Good So Cool, which dropped in April 2018. ~ James Christopher Monger
