Undercatt - Picture: Undercatt (2018)

Undercatt is the Italian duo consisting of Luca Luperini & Elia Crecchi - the latest darlings on the Hamburg based powerhouse Diynamic. Following up last year's Futura EP, the Picture series is described by the label as 'a document in time, showcasing an artist's current creative output in order to allow the listener to visualize and understand the artist'. Following up the last edition by Karmon, this edition features many shades of deep house, tech house and all that's in between - be charmed by the sorcery of these two young sonic magicians. From the melody driven dancefloor drama of "Britannia" or "Damanta", the moody yet adrenalizing energy of "Verana" and "Vulcano" respectively (the latter is perfect to lead into the peak time) and the evocative/bittersweet atmosphere of lush closer "Abissi" it's thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish.
