Blush Response - Hearts Grow Dull (2018)

After two absolutely sensational EPs the followers of the school Kevin Shields of dreamy brawls, in the case the Australians of Blush Response, who finally released their first album.

A long period of hibernation, or rather, making "Hearts Grow Dull" lasted from 2014, but the wait came to an end on April 4.

And frankly, the four years were worth it, because the record is anything but great. Great in the production gazers parameters of course. "Hearts Grow Dull" is a work that reveres the past yes, but with modern airs, of course you hear of cavalry doses of the teachings of Loveless, but there is an aura that gives a touch almost blase to Blush Response. Briefly, the disc is a cauldron that encompasses all shoegaze production from its advent to its current dismemberment.

For starters, surely Blush Response has created one of the best albums of its kind in the year, maybe in the last few years, it does not matter, the disc is like a numbing smoke, it sucks you up gradually and when you realize it is already immersed in tons of effects and delusions created by Alister Douglas and his troupe.

Speaking of Alister, TBTCI asked him to scrub the album, song to song so that you and all the gazers on call could fully understand what Hearts Grow Dull is.
