With influences like The Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and The Black Crows- The Statesboro Revue is on a mission to create groove oriented, old school, rock and roll. They are attempting to bring back a sound that has been missing for quite sometime. "I don't know what we are necessarily- rock, blues, country, Americana- take your pick. But every song has substance, soul, and grit". The band came together two years ago in Austin, creating a force to be reckoned with. They've had the privilege of sharing the stage with artists like War and Robert Randolf. Their unique use of two lead guitar players sets them apart and truly showcases their depth of talent. With a new album coming out produced by Grammy winner David Z, The Statesboro Revue isn't slowing down anytime soon. In fact, the albums release is just scratching the surface of success they will see in the future. It carries such a high caliber of talent it leaves a smoking gun. This band is going to keep writing, stay playing, and continue to further their fan base. So don't stand in their way, just get up and groove with 'em!
