Loel Stein Jr - Delusions Of Grandeur (2018)

After playing live for 15 years while living in San Francisco I moved back to my hometown of North Canton, Ohio. While this move was satisfying in a number of ways it left a musical void that was difficult to fill. Challenges included difficulty in finding band mates and a heavy workload that included a full time job and tending to my two wonderful little girls. My only option was to go it alone. So I built my music studio in my basement and began my odyssey. All of the music you hear on the album was written, created, and played by me. Given my shortcomings as a drummer I made do with drum samples and loops. I did my recording, mixing, and editing in Garageband which is a lightweight and free software package offered by Apple. I received help from my good friend La Bodega Man with the Mastering.

The songs listed within represent my personal views and provide a window into my heart and soul. I've done my best to keep my lyrics honest and true and don't shy away from potentially volatile topics. Creating an album has been a goal of mine for over 20 years so I'm so thrilled to be able to share with you. Thank you for taking the time to listen, sharing my work with others and (hopefully) giving them an escape from the trials and tribulations of real life is what drives me.
