Almost Destiny - The Road To Vancouver (2018)

Fronting, Almost Destiny is John Pallante, former lead singer and lyricist for Destiny. After some time off, John is back with his solo project; Almost Destiny: The Road to Vancouver. which includes a collaboration with some new musicians as well as featuring some former members of Destiny.

Almost Destiny, The Road to Vancouver is vibrant and a great listen throughout encompassing the genres of rock, country and blues. It includes straight ahead rockers such as; Dreamer, Bad For Me, Last American Hero and I Won't Quit as well as rock ballads; You Know and God Knows, Time I Spend With You and the driving funk rock tune, Odyssey. Other songs feature a country flavor including Come Back to Me, Uncle Called Me and the country rock anthem; Nattalie. A tribute to Gonzo journalist "Hunter S. Thompson" is included as well as the introspective Ragman of Killkenny and Where Do You Go and the sensitive ballad; Angel round out the songs included on The Road to Vancouver.
