Daniel Watters and Jenna Cunningham were children growing up in the red rocks of Arizona when their mutual love of music brought them together singing at their high school graduation. Nearly a decade, several moves, a wedding, and a few name changes later, the pair set out as "The Watters" with their first official release in 2016 titled "The Great Unknown."

Like a well-made gumbo, their wide range of life experiences traveling the country soaking up their surroundings in the roux of their relationship inform their music - The Watters seamlessly blend Americana, Soul, Gypsy Jazz, Funk and more in their well-seasoned music. Having lived in Sedona, Los Angeles, Denver, Nashville, and now Austin, the flavor from each of these locales is baked into the foundation of their music. The Watters have garnered a devoted fan base through their high-energy performances, well-crafted songwriting, stirring vocals and road-weathered musicianship. For The Watters, life and music are one, their journey together being their greatest muse.
