VA - Step Forward Riddim (2018)

'Kathmandu Sound' was founded in St.Pölten by selector Dopeman in 2004 where they played their first Partys alongside Sounds like Shangrilla and Kuhbus. The current lineup of the sound consists of the selectors Dopeman, Simba and Mawga. 2005 Dopeman also co-founded the legendary 'King's Tone Club' with King Louis (Shangrilla Soundculture) – a monthly regular that run till 2009 and was continued by Tu-Gedda Sound till 2012. After many dubplate sessions all over the years in Lower Austria's infamous 'House Of Riddim Studio', Dopeman started to produce riddims together with HoR's mastermind Sam Gilly – thus 'Kathmandu Productions' was born!

In 2012 they celebrated their first riddim release called 'Rebel Riddim' featuring artists like Natty King, Edge Michael and Black Dillinger. Their 2nd release was the 'Big Up Riddim' following up in 2014 featuring Pad Anthony, Perfect Giddimani, Elijah Prophet and many more. January 2016 they prolonged their 2-year-pattern and released the highly anticipated 'Pac Man Riddim' featuring artists like Perfect Giddimani, Natural Black, Teacha Dee, Fitta Warri and Dr. Ring Ding,LukAscher,I -Razor, Kinetical & Ruffian Rugged and Rekall.
