Bleed Turquoise is a new project from James Ginzburg, continuing on from his work with Emptyset, and is presented live as an A/V collaboration with visual artist Marcel Weber (MFO).

Sonically the project ignites post-punk with an aggressively colourful production process and expands them into prodigious scale with widescreen synths and detailed textures forming a frenzied mesh of sound and rhythm from which arises an uncontrolled and violent euphoria.

Traveling alongside the evolution of sensorial experience it touches several phenomena of visual perception; dissonant impressions, motion in static, superposition and synthesis, monochromatism and the experience of continuous falling.

James Ginzburg is an American-British artist and musician based in Berlin, best known for his work on the project ‘emptyset.’

James currently curates Subtext recordings and collaborates with Jennifer Allan on Arc Light Editions, which is a record label that has released music from Arthur Russell, Ingram Marshall, and Joan la Barbara.
