I could write extensively about this album, describe the moments and circumstances that led me to compose these eleven pieces. I could explain the influences and motivations that drove me forward. But what is really significant is the fact that, for the past two years, each of these pieces has been like a page in a diary: written in one go and in a very personal way. Somewhere to pour my joys and disappointments, loves and friendships. I do hope that between the light and shadow of the notes, the listener might be able to live, at least partially, what I experienced while writing.
Francesco Fournier Facio - Piano Francesco Fournier Facio operates mainly as a contemporary composer. As such, he can look back on numerous awards, master classes and performances of his works. On this album by Fon he appears not only as a composer, but also as a performer of his own pieces in appearance: eleven solo piano pieces, "Nocturnes and Preludes" is the name Fournier Facio they were gathered together here. They had arisen as entries in a diary: fast, written in one chunk, each spontaneous impressions of a particular experience be processing.
Stylistically reminiscent Fournier Facios miniatures quite a bit of the solo recordings of Philip Glass - but the Italian beats here sent the bridge from the purist minimal music for a smoother, more pop sound, the lives of simple but effective advanced motor structures. A successful synthesis of Philip Glass, Johann Sebastian Bach, Elton John and Keith Jarrett. A CD for friends of music that achieved much with little effort.
In the context of classical and jazz music market, fonè proposes three decades of recordings using advanced techniques, aimed at the recovery of the original musical atmospheres.
Each new recording is the result of a passionate encounter between art and the art of execution and aims to recreate and reproduce the same spirit with which the works of the past have been performed. One basic feature that makes the difference between fonè and others, is the recording of musical works in natural places and original, constant production that leads to choose from time to time historically more space? Suitable for: church, theater, villa, living room ...
