Yeah, Restless Heart had its biggest success after he left. Judging from Down the Road, though, the split was one of those situations where the parts are greater than the sum. Just when "Alright Already" and "I'll Cry Tomorrow" convince you Stewart has made a country record, he tosses off a pop gem like "We Can Love." He also cut Kevin Welch's "I Came Straight to You," a definite plus.
