Nine albums in twelve years, "Kira" would easily pass through "bee diligently" as new synonymous. Since her debut in 2002 with the rock band Kira & The Kindred Spirits the fascinating versatile vocalist and composer from Denmark put a pace on the day in which most colleagues would probably be dizzy.

Despite the enormous workload the 37-year-old revealed a kaleidoscope of styles, occupations and moods. The collaboration with Peter Peter (ex-Sort Sol) and the release of "Persona" is barely a year ago, "Memories of Days Gone By", the wonderful, mysterious tribute to Kira's heroine Billie Holiday is from 2011 and now presents with "When We Were Gentle" already the next match - a snapshot. That is why perhaps their final masterpiece?
