Picstitch - Twist & Turn (2018)

Growing up in the hills of lrlsh Town, St Andrew Jamaica. Stitch loved to sing and was influenced by Toots and The Maytals, Bunny Wailer, Desmond Dekker and The Aces, Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye, Burning Spear, and Bob Marley.

Born in 1963 by the name of Huntley Vassel, he attended Excelsior high school in the early 80’s where he started to focus on his vocal gift, he sang on the school choir throughout his entire attendance. This is when his passion for music began. He was also a member of a local reggae band, African Disciples, in the mid 80’s.

After moving to the states, he attended The Institute of Audio Research in New York city where he studied to be an Audio Engineer. Shortly after, he went on to work with artist such as Sizzla, Half Pint, Mighty Diamond, Trilla U, George Nooks, Lukie D, Daddy U Roy, just tho name a few, before making the transition from producer to artist.

Now as a Grammy nominated producer and one of the top up-and-coming Roots Reggae artist, Picstitch is creating some buzz with records such as King, Excited and Pick up the Pieces. Showing vocal versatility on a range of tracks PicStitch is sure to leave a mark on the reggae world!
