The American band Magik Dayze was originally from Ohio. Arranged in 1976 by keyboardist Charles Thaxton, by the way zaimevshy Mellotron one of the first in Ohio, previously played in Galileo, Stargate. The sound was based on intellectual hard rock with the obvious influence of American and Canadian musicians, such as Frank Marino’s Mahogany, Rush and Pat Travers. The band regularly gave concerts in local clubs and so continued until they signed a contract with Kalamazoo Michigan Studio. In 1978 the same album was recorded here. After that, the band continued to actively touring and periodically recording at various studios, but before the release of the next album, the case never came to pass. In 1981, Magik Dayze ceased to exist. Charles Thaxton continued his career in Galileo II, Voyager, Char-El and with a large number of progressive rock musicians. In 1999, at Capracobb Studio Ohio, Volume 1 was released. It included a remastered debut album and unreleased records…
