"First of all...this album is whatever you want it to be. Don't let any explanations you may read going forward stop you from going on your own adventure in your mind with this record. Thats what instrumental music is all about (to me).

Ultra Violence is our vigilante hero who still believes in order and justice in a world gone mad. No longer able to sit on the sidelines, he builds his arsenal and hits the streets fighting for the surviving citizens of Neo ATL against mutant motorcycle gangs and cyberpunk warlords. But his strength is put to the test as Neo ATL confronts an inter-dimensional intruder hellbent on making the city and the rest of the planet its own.

This album is an homage to the bloody anime, films, and video games of the late 80s and early 90s that inspires much of my work. As a commentary on the state of human morality in the Internet age, it is a reflection of the craziness that characterizes our present times as well as an escape from it.

To all the folks that grew up ripping peoples' arms off in Mortal Kombat, young & old, this one's for you."
