29 songs from the Scepter vaults, most not released when the Shirelles were active (a few found their way onto flop singles, as well as the 1965 album Swing the Most). Much of the material was probably recorded after their 1960-63 prime (the source dates remain vague). This era often found them trying to emulate commercial pop-soul trends (particularly Motown).
