Dave Douglas Quintet - Time Travel (2013) CD-Rip

Mr Douglas will turn 50 years old, and to celebrate this date he had made a new album "Time Travel", with young musicians, Jon Irabagon (sax tenor), Matt Mitchell (piano), linda Oh (bass) and Rudy Roystron (drums). Are exactly the same musicians of the previous album, "Be Still" but is complete different . Is another class of music, jazz from the past and jazz for the future. Is more Dave Douglas classic album. Is nice to find people like Douglas trying combine the past and the present. Probably this group will be perfect for a live concerts.They have energy, ideas and soul. Is a very good record and Douglas play like always; perfect. Happy birthday Mr Douglas and thanks for yours present .
