Bushy-tailed and blue-eyed energy bundle and pop soulstress Helena May meets powerhouse groove and instrumental funk outfit Redtenbacher's Funkestra.

In 2016 Helena came to London sitting in with the Funkestra 606 Club regulars since 2006. They were jamming funk versions of much-loved pop songs - putting their own unalloyed, joyful Funk spin on them. The audience reaction was overwhelmingly enthusiastic prompting them to hop in the recording studio to record this album. Since May they’ve released six singles ahead of the 'Part of Me' album release.
