Cleo Laine and John Williams - Let The Music Take You (1983/2018)

I’ve been listening to this recording for over 30 years now and I never tire of it. The choice of songs; well known and more obscure are a delight. Cleo’s voice is at its very best and John Williams playing is second to none. Their versions of well known classics Imagine and The First Time Ever I saw Your Face are breathtakingly beautiful as are less familiar tracks such as So Many Stars and So Quiet Is The Night. The overall production quality of the recording is second to none. Highly recommend.
