Silke Hauck - Running Scared (2018)

For Silke Hauck, there is a chronology before and after her first English-language album "mellow blue" that earned her 2004 the reputation of the "German Norah Jones" by the media.

After three more highly acclaimed albums in jazz/pop, a best of album, successful singles (four times number one in the Amazon download charts), TV and radio presentations, countless live performances at home and abroad, As well as collaborations with established colleagues such as Xavier Naidoo and Uwe Ochsenknecht, she now presents a new, exceptionally inspired sound work: "RUNNING SCARED".

Again in cooperation with the Haitian Eden Noel, flanked by musical colleagues and authors, 17 titles were created, always with the typical Silke Hauck vocal style, but for the first time some songs were recorded in English AND German. Stefan 'The Nerd' Hartmann also edited two tracks to contemporary dance versions.

Stylistically phrasing the Mannheim woman through a finely balanced mix of great ballads in classic pop garb, fine blues and gospel and a jolt of jazz.
