Birth Control are a cult band of the Kraut-Rock and helped this musical art genre also to international reputation. Despite many staff band fate strikes. with deaths specifically by Bernd "Nossi" Noske -2014; Bruno Frenzel - 1983 and Horst Stachelhaus - 1999, which one had to cope with, Birth Control is still active and on tour even after 50 years of existence. Especially thanks to Mucker returnees Peter Föller and Manni von Bohr.

The latest band Elixir is therefore the cd / dvd - "Live Harmonie Bonn" as a recording from 7 April 2018 with the line-up - Sascha "Sosho" Kühn - keyboards, Hannes "Cyborg Haines" Vesper - bass, vocals, Martin "Ludi" Ettrich - guitar, vocals, talk box, Peter Föller - lead vocals, guitar and Manfred "Manni" from Bohrdrums. Have fun!

Opening song is "The Work Is Done" from the last studio Opus "Here And Now", which was realized with Nossi in the studio. Spherical guitar, keyboard, bass, drums and percussion sounds are played as intro. With the drum vortex of Manni you start very rocking. Master Föller's voice sounds very vital and extremely powerful. The band individualists prove with their solos which exceptional virtuosos you are. Grandiose prelude, which immediately electrified the fans who passed the "Senior Semester".

The following "Right Place Wrong Time" celebrates a mixture of heavy rock jam rock to the melancholic, sensitive outro.

At "Plastic Peope", top-class prog rock is performed at its best, which does not need to shy away from international greats such as Kansas. Today, more than ever, the critical text is a reality, manifesting the textual and songwriting excellence of BC. All musicians impress with their visible enthusiasm and good mood.

"Back Fromm Hell" becomes the jam orgy thanks to the duets of guitarist "Ludi" and keyboarder "Sosho". The striking voice of Peter hovers above everything. The rhythm section provides a powerful groove.

In "Wasting My Tine" with the funky rhythm, Mr. Von Bohr has his big performance with his drums solo. He also whirls the drumsticks for Randy Hansen and shows how thrilling you can make a drum solo without getting boring. He is an absolute high-carat of his trade.

The solos of Nossi, of course, with his crazy magician savagery, in which he even twirled around his drums untopbar.

With "The Witch" they celebrated an exception ballad with a bluesy feeling in the first part, which turns into a wild par-force jam. Of course, the freaks in harmony freak out on the Krautrock surtitle "Gamma Ray".

Every musician shines again with his solo. The song is already an absolutely magical highlight sound brew. The conclusion is the calm and meditative "Live In The Here And Now", which even has classical music character in the first part. In the second sequence you play gigantic prog-rock, which drums off heavy. A thoughtful finale to the audience with the motto "enjoy life" happy to send home! At Donnerhall cheers of the freaks and thank you tribute from Birth Control, the triumphant show comes to an end.
