Gentleman Surfer - Hard Pass (2018)

Formed in 2006, Sacramento, CA, United States as a solo project of drummer/bandleader Jon Bafus. By mid-2010, bassist Drew Walker and guitarist Barry McDaniel joined to assist in performing material from the "Bountiful Ore" release (2011), which features Bafus on all instruments. In late 2012, Zack Bissell joined on keyboards just prior to the release of the second album "Blalks" (2013). The band has since released two albums with this lineup, "Gold Man" (2015) and "Reanimate Ore" (2016), and has gradually evolved into a full-fledged band with all members contributing material, than the initial solo project of which it first began.
