Los Variants - O Passeio (2018)

O Passeio…(meaning a “tour” or “ride")...represents both the title track and the journey that creating this CD has been. Inevitably, the process becomes the music, which in turn brings the listener to another place. O Passeio's inspiration derives from my appreciation of many genres and my collaborations with musicians from around the world who now call Canada home. A diversity of sounds - AfroFunk, Reggae, South Indian, R&B, Cape Verdean, Flamenco, Cuban, Brazilian, Peruvian, Argentinian and Jazz traditions - creates the exciting musical hybrids that are at the heart of this project.
