This fabulous outing from NYJO is a tribute to British jazz pianist, big band leader and arranger, Harry South, one of the greatest writers in British Jazz. This is among Harry's finest work.Booklet Notes are a great read. The musicians sound like they have been around for years but in fact most are aged between 16 - 18 years old!!!Sadly last year (2010 )Chris Dagley the Drummer on this CD died in a Motorbike accident he was just 38.
