Subtitled an “audio film” Cuadernos de La Habana is a sonic exploration of the bars and streets of Havana, Cuba as recorded by Mariko Takahashi and Stefan Winter and directed by writer Mario Luis Malfatti on their travels to that storied city. The fifth volume in a multipart series, this release combines everyday sounds with live performances from local musicians and ensembles Trío Tesis, Dúo Cachibache, Frank Emilio Flynn and others, transporting you to the Caribbean nation.
