This jazz program is inspired by the struggles of women workers in the textile industry of the early twentieth century in the United States. Of very diverse geographical and cultural origins, with very limited means of communication by language, they had summed up their demands in a slogan "we want bread and roses", taking up the title of a popular song itself emanation of a poem by James Oppenheimer. This material was used to write the repertoire of the quartet.

Bread and roses, because this quartet was born on a festive night when people laughed, danced and loved each other. Bread and roses, because we ask for the impossible and we are here, here and now, always dreamers ... realistic.

Bread and roses, so that all that this project transports struggle, love, utopias is shared in the present moment and elsewhere to invent, again!
