Although their music was featured in the classic film MIDNIGHT COWBOY, Los Angeles's the Groop made only one album, this self-titled 1969 outing. The good folks at Sundazed released the album on CD for the first time almost 38 years later, and it's a gem of late-'60s harmony-laden pop with elements of folk and lightly lysergic psychedelia.
