Odette - To A Stranger (2019)

The 21-year-old songwriter first made a splash with 'Watch Me Read You', a sensitive showcase of her talents that ranked at #56 in the 2017 Hottest 100. More recently, she earned a swathe of new fans for her stirring turn on Like A Version, including Gang Of Youths, who praised her rendition of 'Magnolia' as "better than the original".

Odette has now taken a bold step forward, skipping the typical introductory EP route, and jumping straight to crafting a full-length body of work. Brimming with confidence, To A Stranger proves the Sydney-based artist's canny ability to weave melodic meditations that, like her singing, hover in the space between sensuous composition and spoken-word poetry, as heard on lead singles 'Take It To The Heart' and ‘Collide'.
