“This Story Is No Longer Available” is an album about a laundry list of emotions and experiences that make a person who he or she really is. It’s a textured mosaic of seemingly unrelated stories and songs, but upon zooming out and looking at it as a whole I hope the listeners see a little bit of themselves in the collage. There are soft introspective tunes about spirituality, big sounding tunes with broad statements about love, and everything in between. I think the overall idea is that everybody is at least a little broken, we all have regrets and anxieties, and all anybody really wants in this world is to find the parts of themselves that they like and care about. This record is that idea, and we hope with everything in us that it’s received as such, but we also hope the listener enjoys themselves and finds their feet moving a little bit, because you gotta learn to dance through the chaos. Sorry for all the word painting, I’m just really excited about these songs, plus I didn’t get enough sleep last night and drank too much coffee this morning. Anyhow we love you, keep howlin’.
