Adi Becker studied the subjects trombone and composition / arrangement at the conservatories Cologne and Mannheim with Prof. Jiggs Whigham and Prof. Jürgen Friedrich and graduated with the diploma as instrumentalist and the master of music as arranger with the highest grade ,

For over 20 years he has been a musician with the Big Band of the German Armed Forces as well as a soloist, conductor, arranger and composer for many of the most famous artists and orchestras of the national and international scene.

He has composed or orchestrated TV show titles such as TV Total at Pro 7 and the Carmen Nebel Show on ZDF, for international artists such as Jerry Bergonzi, many jazz big bands such as the Aachen Big Band and many symphonic orchestras such as the WDR Funkhausorchester and of course for the big band of the Bundeswehr with artists like Adel Tawil, Stefanie Heinzmann and Thomas Anders.

He also starred with Albert Mangelsdorff, Michael Brecker, Kenny Wheeler, Buddy de Franco, Jeff Lorber, George Whitty, Eric Marienthal, Bob Mintzer, Bill Watrous, Bobby Shew, Dave Liebman, Viktoria Tolstoy, Hiram Bullock, as well as artists from the Entertainment music such as Adel Tawil, Albert Hammond, James Blunt, Pe Werner, Gregor Meyle, Heino, Max Mutzke, Roberto Blanco, Bill Ramsey, Pepe Lienhard, Captain Jack and the Bläck Fööss. His concert tours took him around the world.
