Lasse Lindgren - Baltic Waves (2019)

Sweden's heavyweight transporter Russell Lindgrenn, who died to Maynard Ferguson, "Plays In The Spirits Of Maynard Ferguson" was also a hit in Japan. The previous work "Lasse Lindgren plays the ABBAsongbook" was the ABBA music collection in the big band as the title.

This work is also a collaboration with the Big Band, but the content has changed and it is all composed by Rasse. I arranged the songs I wrote for my own quintet for the big band (by three arrangers).

In a somewhat dark opening song with female vocals, Lasse blows plenty of emotions rather than high notes. I thought that I changed my taste, I blown a tight, high note at the second song of funk beat! In addition, ballad is a mellow ripe play, high note burst at a goki numb number! The performance of the historic Latvian big band "LatvianRadio Big Band" is also at a high level, each solo hears from a delicate ensemble! Electric sound is added not only by acoustic but also keyboard and guitar. Also, 3 out of 10 songs participate in female vocals.

High technical strength is alive, the depth gets even stronger, the fat ride "King of the King" Rasse Lindgren! !
