Billy Lee Riley sounds surprisingly sprightly for a veteran rockabilly performer on his 1997 comeback, Hot Damn! Conceived as tribute to his musical roots and family, Hot Damn! is a farily engaging set of traditional rockabilly and country, punctuated by effective detours into the blues.
