In Greek mythology muses appear as daughters of great Zeus and Mnemosine, goddess of memory. They are considered the inspirers of human activities related with culture, take part in Apolo's court, as the protectors of Arts and Sciences. Muses are these divinities by which human and divine worlds mix, when they nourish human inspiration, especially in poets, musicians and philosophers.

The objective of this work is to make the listener participant in an invocation towards something sacred we have inside: our creative essence. This mystical aspect of muses wants to be a referent we can project our faith in men, life and music.

Some pieces have bigger creative and improvistion possibilities than others, in which almost all is interpretation. Composing open works to improvisation and creativity increases the possibility of error and/or perfection, but above all it obliges to compose in present, while playing, in an active way and mood. Thus, the musicianship of the musicians playing in this recording is decisive in the composition of the pieces.
