Best known for his Unkwon alias and being one third of electro group Av Av Av, on Death Tapes Vol. 1 A.dixen explores a darker more introspective side of his distinctive production skills. Channelling dark, dystopian soundscapes and hazy meditative melodies, Death Tapes Vol. 1 is a deep dive through otherworldly and ethereal atmospheres and emotions.
Composed and recorded in Copenhagen during the winter 2019, the album is crafted on his modular synth merged with organic source material and distorted field recordings. Death Tapes Vol. 1 is the first instalment of a trilogy set to release during 2019.
