Christian Brock - Waiting Waves (2019)

Waiting Waves is the debut full-length album by Danish guitarist Christian Brock.

Waiting Waves features nine tracks, all of which only the sound of a single guitar is present. It is a collection of performances combining altered tunings, fingerstyle techniques, minimalistic and heartfelt compositions, and arrangements.

The tunes on this album have its roots in the silent moments, the chaotic evenings, the sleepless nights and the crazy and tiresome weekdays. The tunes have been a musically diary for the tears that were stuck and the smiles that were sent off, maybe, a bit too late.
Together they represent a wordless novel about love, sorrow, happiness, and thoughtfulness.
