Jazz and country singer Mandy Barnett released her latest studio album "I Can't Stop Loving You" .
It opens with the crystalline "(Yes) I'm Hurting" and it is followed by the dynamic ballad "Too Soon To Know." She changes the pace with the upbeat "Looks Who's Blue" and a cover of the Patsy Cline country classic ballad "Sweet Dreams."
"Just One More Time" is another prime cut, as well as the gorgeous "Blue Bay Day," which features bluegrass darling Alison Krauss on harmony vocals, which is one of my favorites on the record. "Oh Lonesome Me" is mid-tempo and "Oh Such a Stranger" is another standout ballad. "Far Far Away" is quite catchy and her rendition of "I Can't Stop Loving You" is one of the best cover versions I've heard since country queen Martina McBride covered it on her Timeless album.
