This deep warm groovy delightful poetic album brilliant from start to finish was composed by band leader Serge Fabriano, who gathered some of the best musicians from Guadeloupe to form the Fabriano Unité Zion.This is the first spiritual jazz album from the West Indies album I have ever bought when a dead stock surfaced over 15 years ago in Paris, this is still one of my fav' caribbean jazz lp today ! Features Claude Vamur on drums, Mario Canonge and Alain-Jean Marie on Piano and synth, Roger Raspail & Hector Ficadière on Ka, Edouard and Pierre Labor on Saxophone. You won't resist to the deepness of Kaladja Vivilo Part 1 & 2, Karibean Suite, the organic acoustic funk sound of Kominiké, the cosmic vocal trip of Kosmos 1 & 2, .. the entire album is beautiful and can easily rival Edmony Krater' Tijan Pou Velo, Max Labor's Mama Says, Roland Brival's Creole Gypsy or Kat Tet.
