Jose Angel Navarro is an eclectic guitarist capable of moving between acoustic and electric guitar with the same professional sonority that characterizes each instrument.
With a vast international career as a concert guitarist, Jose Angel Navarro has participated in 18 international guitar festivals as a master. In addition to sharing scenarios with important and renowned guitarists from around the world, Jose Angel Navarro has stood out as a great jazz player in his whole career since 2007, doing concerts around the world and working with a musical format that is usually formed with a percussionist, a bassist and sometimes a pianist. With the sonority of the Gibson, Jose Angel Navarro has achieved an identity in his music that identifies him in his combination of Afro-Cuban folk elements combined with jazz, resulting in a new musical genre that he himself called as Afro-Jazz. Jose Angel Navarro is also a civil engineer and sound engineer, with a career as a graphic designer and is also a reflexologist, what has led him to work in the field of therapeutic music as you can appreciate in his album "Crossing the Threshold".
In this album Jose Angel Navarro shared with the great percussionist and vocalist Joel Hernandez, who is a member of the band of the famous singer Ricardo Montaner.
