Westmont Blues is a trio formed by Maximiliano Cervetti on piano and hammond, Lautaro Bocai on drums, and Santos Massa on bass.
It is a project formed in 2018 in which it is betting on an organic sound, with acoustic instruments, which fuses the blues with the rhythms and nuances of traditional jazz. The trio format, with eventual guitars of special guests, revolves around the piano, and hammond, which is where the melodies and harmonies come from.
The result is a subtle resonance that seeks to remember Muddy Waters, a referent of the band and who gives rise to the name.
Westmont Blues arises in the east mount of the province of Cordova and has appeared in numerous scenes, sharing dates with Luis Robinson, harmonica player of the Mississippi, Pappo's Blues among others, pioneer of the genre and reference in the national scene for having awarded him a great prominence to the instrument through its participation in numerous recordings that have remained in the history of Blues and National Rock.
