Ludwig van Beethoven's complete works seem to be more than abundantly represented on CD, and yet there are sensitive gaps in the catalog of some of the work groups - especially of high-profile recordings. Two years ago, when I talked to Dieter Klöcker about the joint future projects with the Consortium Classicum, and he proposed Beethoven's complete chamber music for wind ensemble, I did not hesitate a second: Voila, this is Vol. 1!

With the septet in E flat major op. 20 in the arrangement for wind octet with contrabass, the first duo for clarinet and bassoon WoO 27 and Allegro and minuet G major for 2 flutes WoO 26.
