A welcome midprice CD release for this rare Vanguard album from 1967. Jonathan & Leigh were a male-female duo consisting of Jonathan Alden and Sandy Roepken. They recorded this single album, very much in the style of label-mates Ian & Sylvia and Richard and Mimi Farina. Backing musicians include Russ Savukus, who had appeared with the Farinas and Ian & Sylvia, plus bassist Richard Davis and guitarist Jay Berliner who would shortly appear on Van Morrison's "Astral Weeks".
