Tom Syson - Different Coloured Days (2019)

Tom Syson is a highly regarded trumpeter and composer based in the UK. In January 2019 he recorded his 2nd album, ‘Different Coloured Days’ at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios, which he is touring around the UK in May 2019, supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England. The album title is inspired by his experience with anxiety.u

Featuring on the record and tour is Tom Barford (2017 Kenny Wheeler Prize Winner, Jazzwise - 'Future star of the UK Jazz Scene.') on tenor saxophone, David Ferris (2014 Mike Gibbs Prize Winner, Simon Spillett, Helen Mayhew JazzFm - 'One to watch.') on piano, Pete Hutchison (Dixie Strollers, Hofesh Shechter Company, Abandoman) on double bass and Jonathan Silk (Soweto Kinch, Meraki, Forj) on drums.
