Alessandro Cristeli - Piano solo (2019)

This record is a casket that contains some of my favorite songs. Songs full of stories that trace emotions and feelings belonging to geographically distant times and places. I wanted to give voice only to my piano, instrument and companion that has been following me for a lifetime now. This record also wants to be a "meeting" with some artists who, in the last few years, have influenced my musical journey: one of them, Michel Petrucciani, a brilliant pianist and composer; but also Tom Jobim author of beautiful compositions, up to Billy Strayhorn with the extravagant Lush life. Four of my unpublished works complete this musical journey, I wrote them in those spare moments, where the frenzy of everyday life for a moment took a back seat and left room for music.
