The only album of the band from Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania), in whose music elements of country, rock and folk music were combined. Live performances of the band were popular in their native Pittsburgh, and so the band quickly signed a contract with the label "Musicor Records", which issued country and rock music. In 1969 on this label "Rebecca And The Sunnybrook Farmers" released their only album "Birth". The album was recorded in New York, somewhere in a week. Despite this, the group failed to become famous outside of Pittsburgh and by 1971 it had disintegrated. Ilene Rappaport changed her name to Lauren Wood and recorded two albums with the trio "Chunky, Novi & Ernie", as well as several solo albums (her song "Fallen" sounds in the movie "Pretty Woman", and her duet with Michael McDonald "Please Do not Leave "Hit the top twenty hits in 1979). Ilene Novog continued her career as a session musician, appearing on the albums of The Indigo Girls, The Violent Femmes and The Flat Duo Jets. Mickey Kapner dropped the music and moved to Boston, where he became a successful entrepreneur. Later Mickey Kapner hit the religion and, changing his name to brother Nathaniel, became a street preacher.
